About Phil Cantito, Master Plumber:
Phil will be the first one to tell you that "You have to LOVE plumbing to be the best plumber. It is my opinion that you don't wake up
one morning and say 'I'll try being a plumber.' It just doesn't happen." He adds, "Ever since I was a young man and my stepfather
made me realize the value of hard work ... and a strong work ethic-I noticed I was always comfortable around any profession that
involved water. It was a natural progression to segue into my profession."
Phil reflects on the early days of his career. "I started working at a plumbing supply house at the age of 15 cleaning up trucks, sorting
fittings, getting coffee, etc. After the first year I got up the courage and signed on as an apprentice. I worked four years as an
apprentice and thereafter, became a journeyman. I worked as a journeyman for two years and then "Aced" the test to become a
licensed plumbing contractor. Over the next five years, I continued to forge my craft by getting the necessary education for heating,
including the AC and fire protection licensing exam. I successfully became fully licensed in all areas. I worked for other plumbers
until all my licenses were held. It wasn't long before I ventured out-creating PLUMBERS PLUS, LLC.
